This page explains what E&B Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning ("E&B", "we") collects through eandbcarpet.com, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. If anything here is unclear, call us at (314) 427-7800 or email info@eandbcarpet.com.
What you send us through the forms
The site has three forms. We only get what you type into them:
- Free estimate: your name, phone, email, address or ZIP, what you'd like cleaned (rooms, stairs, rugs, furniture, other services), soil level, pets, access and any note you add.
- Contact: your name, email, an optional subject and your message.
- Urgent water damage: your name, phone, address or ZIP, what's wet, whether water is still coming in and any note you add.
We use this to answer you, give you a price and schedule the work. When you send a form, it is emailed to our team, and if you gave an email address we send you one confirmation. We do not sell what you send us, and we don't share it with anyone except the services listed below that help run the site.
Services that help run the site
- Cloudflare hosts the site. Like any web host, it keeps short-lived technical logs (such as your IP address, browser and the pages requested) to deliver the site and keep it secure.
- Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a form is being sent by a person, not a bot. It looks at technical signals from your browser and does not ask you to solve puzzles in most cases.
- Resend delivers the form emails to us and the confirmation email to you.
- Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager tell us, in aggregate, how people find and use the site (pages visited, how long, what kind of device, roughly where from). We use this to improve the site.
- WhatConverts tells us which page or ad led to a form, so we know what's working. When you send a form, the form details and the page you arrived on are shared with WhatConverts.
Cookies and similar storage
Google Analytics and WhatConverts use cookies to recognize a returning visit and which page or ad brought you. Cloudflare Turnstile may set a cookie to do its check. The site itself also remembers, for this visit only, the first page you landed on and the site that sent you, so a form can tell us where you came from; that is cleared when you close the tab. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
How long we keep it
Form emails stay in our inbox for as long as we need them to serve you and keep our job records. Analytics data is kept according to each service's settings.
Your choices
You can ask us what we have from you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call (314) 427-7800 or email info@eandbcarpet.com and we'll take care of it.
Children
This site is for people arranging cleaning services and is not meant for children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the site handles information, we'll update this page and the effective date above.
