We want everyone to be able to get a price, ask a question or reach us in an emergency through this site, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, magnification, or reduced motion settings.

The standard we aim for

We work to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. That covers things like text contrast, labels on every form field, a visible focus outline, pages that work with a keyboard alone, and motion that stops when your device asks for less of it.

How we test

• Automated checks run on every page of the site at desktop and phone sizes.
• Keyboard testing of the menus, the estimate builder, every form and the blog filters.
• Screen reader checks: we review what a screen reader announces on the main pages and forms.
• Every page is checked for one main heading and headings in order, so they make sense read aloud.

Known limitations

• Some older blog posts came over from our previous site. Their photos may have short or general descriptions, and we're improving them as we go.
• Links to outside sites, such as our Google reviews and Facebook page, are run by those companies and may not meet the same standard.
