Brian Grubbs started E & B in 1974 while he was attending Meramec Community College. Someone backed into his beloved 1968 gold Ford Torino on the school parking lot. He used the insurance money to buy a portable carpet cleaning machine.
He took the back seat out of his Torino so he could carry his equipment. Brian cleaned carpets part-time while he was getting his degree in Management & Supervision. After graduating, he drove a school bus for the Special School District in the morning and afternoon, and cleaned carpets in between shifts. He was soon busy enough to buy his first truck-mounted unit and concentrate full-time on carpet cleaning.
With a great deal of hard work, Brian took that dent in his car and built it into a 6 van, 8 employee operation that prides itself on high quality work, customer service, and always getting the job done.
